영월 중심부에 위치해서 주변에 시장도 있고 조그만 식당도 그럭저럭 괜찮은데, 근래 리모델링한 객실이라 해도 그닥 훌륭하진 않았어요. 일단 세면대가 개방되어 침실에서 물쓰는 소리가 좀 시끄럽고, 샤워한 물이 화장실까지 다 적시게 되는 구조는 불합리하다고 느꼈습니다. 나머지는 쾌적했습니다.

8살된 딸아이와 와이프 이렇게 셋이 별마로 천문대를 가기 위해 영월을 방문했는데 영월에는 큰 호텔이 없어
혹시 이상한 곳이면 어쩌나 걱정했는데 깔끔하고, 이상한 곳도 아닌 괜찮은 호텔이었습니다.
설 명절 연휴를 끼어서 갔다보니 식당을 운영하지 않아 아침 식사 이용을 못했지만 메뉴 구성 자체는 괜찮았을 것 같습니다.

눈이 많이 내려서 계획한 일정을 다 실행못하고 체크인시간 맞춰 가서 눈 안 맞는 1층 한자리 주차했어요..신발이 다 젖어서 신문지 요청했는데 주셔서 잘 말렸어요..따뜻하고 물 잘나오고 가운, 욕조는 없지만 그래도 괜찮았어요..근처 카페, 편의점 있고 바로 앞 고기와 조개집에서 저녁먹었는데 개별공간이라 좋네요. 설경이 진짜 멋졌던 청령포 장릉이랑 가까워서 좋아요..조식은 식당 휴무라고 못먹어서 아쉬웠어요..10년에 한번이나 눈이 올까말까한 남쪽에 거주하는 사람이라 평생 볼 눈, 구경 실컷 하고 갑니다~
